No Day At The Beach

Since it’s August, chances are at some point this month you’ll be headed to the beach. So while you’re carrying the coolers, chairs, towels, boogie board, shovels, and everything else why not pick up some extra sand to make the most of your next workout?

Of course you can always pick up sand at your local hardware store. Once you do, we recommend using it to fill this FitShit bag so you can get to work. The beauty of a sandbag workout is that the weight won’t always be balanced and it will shift, think of it like a kid climbing all over you. That means you’ll need your core to support every movement. Good thing you did our “No Weight, No Problem” workout in July to build that base. If you didn’t maybe you want to start there first. But if you’re ready, grab that kiddie shovel, fill that sandbag, and let’s get to work.

This month we’re dividing the workout into a two day split. On the first day you’ll get the most out of the workout with supersets that work your upper and lower body at the same time. On the second day, we’ll use the sandbag to let the animal in you run wild.
