Million Pound Challenge
This month our goal is to move 1,000,000 pounds through our workouts and we’re going to do it using five body weight moves you can do anywhere. Here’s the idea, take 1,000,000 and divide it by your body weight.
So if you weigh 200 lbs here’s what that looks like:
1,000,000 total weight moved/ 200 lbs= 5,000 reps
That’s the total number of reps you need to do over the course of the month. We’ll divide that number equally over five moves (or as equally as possible): squats, pushups, pull ups, mule kicks, jump knee tucks.
So if you have to do 5,000 reps total, that’s
1,000 squats
1,000 push ups
1,000 pull ups,
1,000 mule kicks
1,000 jump knee tucks
over the next 30 days.
33-34 reps of each exercise every day over the next 30 days if you don’t miss any. Obviously that will change up or down depending on your weight. You can do any variation of the first three exercises (Squat jumps, Sumo squats, Chin ups, wide-grip pull ups, military push ups, dive bombers, wide pushups, you get the idea). If you pull it off you will have moved 1,000,000 lbs in one month. Up to the challenge? We’ll find out. Here’s a spreadsheet to help you keep track of your progress.
